Last Wednesday lunchroom Down Town opened its doors! Owner Marleen de Kort already had a great lucnhroom -Bairro Alto- in Nijmegen, but her new business is most certainly the place to be.

A nice, relaxed and happy vibe can be expected here. And the food? Delicious but healthy as well.

The menu will change every couple of months, but right now, the prawn-bagel is a real recommendation! The taste of egg, avocado, tomatos and prawns mix perfectly with the dill mayonaise. The coffee served here comes from local coffee-company Blommers, it's a treat! The interior looks modern, but has a very classic undertone as well due to the white colours and rustic lights, with lots of plants and some small pieces of art too. The staff is incredibly friendly, serving glasses of water on arrival, and although it might be busy at times, it is certainly worth the wait!

Down Town is the perfect place to calmly start your day. Drink some coffee, read the paper, enjoy.
